Lisburn Distillery 3-0 Newry City
Carling Premiership - Tuesday, 23rd March, 2010
LISBURN Distillery hoisted themselves off the foot of the Carling Premiership for the first time since August with this defeat of Newry City at New Grosvenor.

Glenn Ferguson got them off to the perfect start when, on five minutes, he turned a low drive inside the post from a Gary Thompson cross.

Thompson himself then added number two six minutes into the second half when he combined with Gary Browne to finish from close range.

And the scoring was completed just a minute from time through Austin Friel after Ferguson sent over a cross from the right for the diminutive striker to knock home.
