Dungannon Swifts 1-1 Glenavon
JJB Sports Premiership - Saturday, 21st March, 2009
A LATE Conor Forker goal earned Dungannon Swifts a point to close the gap slightly on those above them at the foot of the table.

He hammered the ball past Andrew Plummer eight minutes from time after getting on the end of a Timmy Adamson header.

Ryan McIlmoyle came close to breaking the deadlock inside the opening 20 minutes when he volleyed against the underside of the bar from the corner of the box.

The Lurgan Blues moved in front, though, eight minutes from the break through Tony Grant who delivered a low shot on the turn past Alvin Rouse into the bottom corner from around 12 yards.

Dungannon might have levelled within a minute of the restart only for Marc McCann's powerful shot to be blocked on the line by Mark Gracey while Adam McMinn later headed over from a good position.
