Crusaders 0-1 Glentoran
JJB Sports Premiership - Tuesday, 14th April, 2009
GLENTORAN kept their noses in front of the title race with this narrow defeat of Crusaders at Seaview.

This crucial top of the table clash at Seaview was delayed by some 15 minutes due to a security alert on the Shore Road.

Glentoran went in at the break in front thanks to a 45th minute Daryl Fordyce header after Kyle Neill delivered the ball from the left.

They might have made it 2-0 on the hour mark when Johnny Black crossed for Michael Halliday at the back post but his first time effort from nine yards out went just wide.

And moments later Crues 'keeper Chris Keenan did well to deny Paul Leeman with a low save after the Glens skipper was teed up by Shane McCabe.
