KR, who are struggling towards the foot of Iceland's 'Úrvalsdeild karla' showed Scott Young's side no mercy at the KR-stadium, taking the lead as early as the 12th minute when Grétar Gunnarsson was played through by Björgólfur Takefusa to fire into the bottom right corner.

They made it 2-0 on 32 minutes courtesy of Kjartan Finnbogason who pounced to send the ball into the net after Eliott Morris had blocked a Takefusa effort.

But Takefusa was eventually rewarded for his endeavours on 62 minutes when he knocked home KR's third when Finnbogason delivered the ball from the left flank for the international striker to turn it home from inside the area.
