Crusaders 3-0 Glenavon
Carling Premiership - Monday, 1st March, 2010
CRUSADERS turned on the style in front of Sky Sports cameras to record their first Carling Premiership win since January 2nd.

For Glenavon, though, this defeat more or less extinguishes any hopes they have of reaching the coveted top six.

Martin Donnelly got the ball rolling on 26 minutes when he made the most of a mistake by Barry Johnston to send a low drive under 'keeper Andrew Plummer into the corner of the net.

The Crues doubled their advantage seven minutes before the break when a Donnelly header from a David McMaster cross was pushed out by Plummer only as far as Ross Arthurs who clinically knocked home the rebound.

The scoring was complete in stoppage time courtesy of Ryan McCann after he ran onto another McMaster delivery to confidently fire the ball into the opposite corner.
