DAVID Scullion grabbed a dramatic late winner as Coleraine progressed to the Irish Cup quarter-finals at the expense of derby rivals Ballymena United.
The Sky Blues moved in front after 12 minutes after Bannsiders 'keeper Michael Doherty failed to deal with a harmless looking Gavin Taggart volley from distance.
Curtis Allen almost levelled for the Bannsiders three minutes later with a 25-yard snapshot which came off the top of the bar.
But Allen wasn't to be denied on 21 minutes with a simple finish after David Scullion delivered a ball into the area.
Coleraine moved into the lead on 66 minutes after recent United signing Shaun Maher turned a Stephen Lowry cross into his own net.
A replay looked to be on the cards with just two minutes remaining after substitute Neil Lowry delivered a cross for Gary Liggett to head past Doherty.
However, little over a minute later, Scullion ensured that last eight berth for Oran Kearney's men when he pounced on a loose ball to turn home the winner at the near post.
