STEVE Feeney helped himself to a couple of goals as Ballinamallard United secured all three points from this visit of Glenavon to Ferney Park.
The Mallards raced into the lead after just 45 seconds when Ryan Campbell knocked a Leon Carters free-kick into the path of Feeney who finished from just inside the box.
Glenavon almost hit back soon after with chances from Mark Farren on ten minutes and a Niall Henderson flick from a Guy Bates cross.
Ballinamallard thought they doubled their advantage on 36 minutes only for Campbell's 'goal' to be ruled out offside.
But they did grab a second on 39 minutes when Carters connected with a Jason McCartney corner to finish with ease at the back post.
Then, on 67 minutes, Feeney doubled his tally for the game after tapping home the rebound from a blocked Chris Curran drive.
Glenavon might have pulled one back three minutes later from the spot after Bates had been brought down but United 'keeper Alvin Rouse did well to save Kyle Neill's penalty.
However, the visitors did earn a consolation three minutes after that courtesy of a Bates diving header.
United almost added a fourth a few minutes later but a combination of substitute Matthew Rooney and an upright were enough to deny Curran.
